Our seven-day safari option is a great way to experience some of Tanzania’s amazing wildlife in northern Tanzania in a short period of time. This itinerary is ideal for those who want to see the BEST of Northern Tanzania on the list: Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara National parks, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Natron. This tour offers the best experience for the 7 days and the concentration of wildlife in these areas offers great opportunities to see lots of wildlife within a short period of time.  

Day0. Karibu / Welcome to Tanzania!

You will be met at the International airport of Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha Domestic airport (ARK) by our representative. After a short introduction we will transfer you to Korona Villa Hotel in Arusha where you will meet our safari manager for further safari briefing. Relax, enjoy your well prepared dinner and look forward to start your African Adventure from the next morning…

Day1. Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After your well prepared breakfast meet your safari guide at the hotel around 7: 30am for a short introduction before you depart at 7:45am heading to Tarangire NP to start your explorations. A drive to Tarangire National Park takes about 2 hours, arrive for a full day game viewing experience in this magnificent park, famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and varieties of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country. In midday have a short break and enjoy your well packed lunches at one the picnic site with great view in this park. Later on continue exploring the nature the best you can. After your tour of the park, you will drive to your preferred accommodation for hot dinner and overnight.


Day2. Visit Lake Manyara National Park

Have your breakfast around 7: 00am and leave your lodge around 7:45am. Have a short drive to Lake Manyara Np via southern side. From the entrance gate the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. The park is also renowned for its elusive tree climbing lions and diverse bird life. There is great chance see buffalo, Zebras, Elephants, Giraffe, different species of antelopes and much more. For the birders this is a paradise. In the afternoon have a short break and enjoy your well packed lunches at one of the best view picnic site in this Biosphere reserve national park and the keep on searching for the wildlife.  After your tour around the beautiful lake and the amazing wildlife experience you will be transferred to Mto wa Mmbu Village for dinner and overnight at your preferred accommodation.

Day3. Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro crater onto Serengeti NP

 After breakfast around 6:30AM we leave the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for crater tour. Descending about 600m to the crater floor searching for the BIG 5 and other many species in their natural home.

 The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa, UNESCO heritage site and Human Biosphere reserve. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your delicious packed lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site before you continue with your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon will leave the crater and drive direct to Serengeti National Park with plenty to see on the way. En route you will see grazing zebras, antelopes, giraffes buffalos hiding in the bush and much more. Cross between kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti from southern plains as you continue to central part of Serengeti .

Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. In late evening we will drive to your lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight.

Day4. Full day game drive in Serengeti

Early start today for an early morning game drive to see nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. You can take breakfast and lunch boxes with you (if you are interested) have a bush breakfast when the sun is up before you visit the interesting documentation center about Serengeti at Seronera. Proceed exploring this world famous nation park which has a lot of things to offer!!

In the afternoon you will have a brake to enjoy your well packed lunches at one of the best viewing point in Serengeti and later on proceed searching for the ungulate migration, big cats and other wildlife species before you drive back to your lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight.

Day5. Morning Game drive in Serengeti then on to Lake Natron

After breakfast go for morning game drive with your packed lunches on hand en route to Clains gate onto Lake Natron. Arrive around 2pm unpack and check in at your Lodge. After relaxing for about an hour will have a short walk / drive very close to this beautiful lake crossing Maasai steppe with great view of Oldonyo Lengai (Mountain of god) rising majestically from the Great Rift Valley floor to a height of 2890m, Ol Doinyo Lengai is the only active volcano on earth that erupts carbonatite lava.

Lake Natron is a shallow lake fed by the Ewaso Ngiro River and mineral-rich hot springs whose depth and width varies with the rate of evaporation. The lake has no outlet, and has high concentrations of salt and other minerals.

The lake’s color is characteristic of high rates of evaporation; as the water levels fall the salinity levels rise, favoring the growth of halophile micro-organisms like cyanobacteria, whose photosynthesizing pigments produce the deep reds and oranges of the lake. This place an important habitat for flamingos and is home to endemic algae, invertebrates and even fish and much more. Later on go back to your lodge /for hot dinner and overnight.

Day6. Visit Engare sero water falls

Have a leisure breakfast then will take short walk to the Ngare Sero River arising in the Ngorongoro Highlands, and travels north east for 3-4 Km, descending in a series of picturesque waterfalls that are a tranquil location picturesque waterfalls that is fantastic natural relaxation.  

The warm, mineral-rich water forms a series of pools that are ideal for bathing, and the easily-forded rapids allow a pleasant walk up to the first of the waterfalls.  For the adventurous that is a must when in Lake Natron areas.

Later on will get back to the lodge, have hot lunch and drive back to Arusha for hot dinner and overnight at your preferred hotel

Day7. Arusha city tour on to JRO airport

Have leisure breakfast, pack and then drive to Arusha town for a short tour and buying some souvenirs before we drive to airport for your next destination.
